Services
Now that the summer is over, we are moving back indoors to the YMCA Event Center. Our services will be at 9:00am and 10:45am. We care deeply about your whole family, so we would love for your kids to check out our incredible children’s and/or student ministries.
Questions
During a typical worship service, there will be some extended times of singing, prayer, and a message, or teaching, that will be focused on applying Biblical truth to our everyday lives. We care less about the production of a church service and more about spending time in the presence of the Lord.
Our greatest joy is to continually hear people tell us, “I really experience God in amazing ways here.” Our hope is that you would be able to truly connect with and experience God as you participate in service with us.
Normally, our services begin at 9:00am and 10:45am in the event center. During the summer, we meet at 9am in the pool pavilion. A typical service lasts about an hour and 15 minutes.
Our worship style is considered contemporary and is led by a small band that typically includes acoustic guitar, piano, a drum, and voices, with an occasional supplemental instrument (violin, bass, etc).
As far as attire goes, come as you are! Most people are dressed casually, but please worship however you are most comfortable. God cares very little about the outward appearance but cares a lot about the heart.
We have greeters that will help you in any way that they can - you’ll see them as soon as you come in the building.
We also have a Connect Table in the lobby that has resources and leaders to fill you in on any questions you might have.
Visiting a new church can be an uncomfortable and somewhat intimidating experience and we want you to feel welcomed and valued here at Antioch!
We have a wonderful children’s ministry, called KidZone, now available for infants through 4th grade during our 9:00am and 11:00am services but 11:00am is limited to just Preschool Park and Waumbaland. We value our children and believe that one of our greatest callings is to bring up the next generation. We strive to present a Bible-based curriculum that encourages both real life applications and real encounters with the One who made them.
Our Student Ministries, Club 56, Ignite, and Roots, meet separate from KidZone. Click here for more information.
KidZone volunteers are able to use our child check-in program to send a text message directly to parents when they are needed (ages birth - 4th grade).
At Antioch, the safety of your children is very important to us. Therefore, all of our children’s ministry volunteers have been thoroughly screened, trained, and have undergone background checks.
Yes! Jesus loves kids and so do we. If your baby is beginning to be a distraction to you or to others, we would ask that you consider moving out to our lobby where we are streaming the service on one of the TV’s. We also have many loving nursery volunteers in our Waumbaland program who would love to care for your child. Either way, we welcome you and your children with open arms.
If you have a child who has special challenges and may need a little extra help making it through service, we have an individualized program to help these kids thrive in the children’s ministry setting. We want to come alongside parents and provide one on one helpers to concentrate on individuals who may need a little extra attention. Email info@antiochcountryside.com for assistance.
Typically, we teach from the English Standard Version (ESV). We recommend bringing your Bible and a notebook along with you to service. We provide the teaching texts on screens during the sermons, but we’d love for you to be able to take your own notes on the teaching, if you so desire. If you don’t have a Bible, we would love to give you one! Just let us know.
